Education Scholar: Module 6 - Promoting Teaching and Learning Excellence
Module Overview

Introduction
The Education Scholar program was designed for health professions faculty who are increasingly challenged by the health care system, by their administration, and by their students to develop new ways to facilitate student learning. You yourself may be confronting expectations to educate the next generation of health professionals in ways that differ from your own student experiences. Whether you are a clinician new to academia, or a veteran health professions educator, you may find yourself needing to make substantive course, program or institutional changes to meet these expectations. This module is designed to interactively lead you through a problem-solving process, from an initial assessment of needed change, to the identification of strategies and resources that can best facilitate such change. In doing so, you'll discover how your new role as change agent contributes to your advancement in the scholarship of teaching.
